In a note posted to her Web site,
Tammy Faye Messner said doctors have stopped
her cancer treatment and she only weighs 65 pounds.
Messner, who lives in Matthews, was diagnosed

with colon cancer in 1996. Three years ago, in 2004,
she said she had lung cancer. In a December appearance on
"Larry King Live," Messner said the cancer had spread
from her colon to other parts of her body.
"The doctors have stopped trying to treat the cancer and so
now it's up to God and my faith," according
to the note, dated Tuesday, on www.tammyfaye.com.
"And that's enough! But please continue to pray for the
pain and sick stomach."
