Yorkies are a “single” coated breed, meaning that they do not have an undercoat. Our coat is very similar to human hair,
but it is recommended to not use human shampoo on us!
You should always use a dog shampoo.
There are many good shampoos on the market.
Remember to be careful around the eyes.
Kiehl's even has a dog (and a horse) shampoo these days.
And while you should not put human shampoo on a dog,
you can use dog shampoo on a human!
It's true! My daddy recently ran out of his shampoo,
and he grabbed my Kiehl's to use on his hair,
and it came our beautiful!

JUMP OFF BEFORE YOU CAN BLINK AN EYE…..
